Karneef - Swimming (Touchy Mob remix)
I’ve been chatting recently with Karn of the Canadian pop funk-fusion project Karneef. His album, In Error, was just released last month after touring with one of my heroes, Sean Nicholas Savage. Before this solo work, Karn played with Pat Jordache, and Cadence Weapon, and seems to have a pretty big foot in the Arbutus world, which makes it pretty easy for me to fall in love with his special brand of tunes.

this is me getting ready for SXSW in a cold Neukölln bathroom. i had to perform a huge jump in temperature, notable growth in the occurence of greasy ass food and light ass beer and jet lag and border fear and musical overdose, all in my head.
in february and march i had a short and funny addiction to a free software called sculptris. try it and you’ll not want to stop. started with some gnome heads because that’s easiest. went on to, come on, what did you think was the first thing rodin did with his first handful of clay.
i guess you’ll have a fancy name for this colour, but come on you can mix ANYTHING out of blue and red and call it funny. i can never fly a helicopter myself officially, gotta find other ways of sitting in something like a cockpit, proudly.
who’s able to make a palstek upon request, can’t be an all too bad person. prepare yourself.
all you wanna read on any display ever, i suppose. where do you think all those band names and song titles come from.
mama and me agree: haters gonna hate. and i add in my mind that i wouldn’t have minded a kevin costner statue in in mecklenburg for all that early dvd pleasure.
